Well, that’s it from us here at talkSPORT for tonight and congratulations to Chelsea on claiming Europa League glory.
We’ll be back on Saturday for the Champions League final as Liverpool take on Tottenham in Madrid.
See you all again then but for now, thank you and goodnight.
Chelsea 4 Arsenal 1 – player reaction
Speaking to BT Sport, Arsenal goalkeeper Petr Cech said: “I'm proud of myself and I'm proud of the way I played today because when you play your last career game in the final there is a lot of pressure and speculation.
“I had to perform and I have to say I have done everything I can, and I can look back with no regrets apart from the fact we worked so hard all year to finish with nothing. This group of players do not deserve it because of how much work has been done this season.
“It is easy to say we finish empty-handed but I can assure everyone that the work we have done will mean this team comes back much stronger next year.”
On his future, Cech added: “I kept saying I wanted to lift the trophy and then think about it. Until 30 June, I am an Arsenal player.”

Chelsea midfielder Jorginho on Sky Sport Italia: “It’s wonderful to win such an important trophy after a long, tough, difficult season, but I think we deserved it.
“Aside from all the criticism, I think we had a great season. We finished third in the Premier League, reached the final of the Carabao Cup even if we didn’t win it in the end and won this trophy.
“Criticism is part of the game, but I want to thank everyone who made this long journey to come here and cheer us on. I salute my wife and kids, who unfortunately couldn’t come because of the absolute chaos it took to get here.”
Chelsea 4 Arsenal 1 – manager reaction
Speaking to BT Sport, Arsenal boss Unai Emery said: “First is congratulations to Chelsea.
“In the first half we played with good opportunities to take a good result. We got to the box with good options and chances to score but the first goal changed the game.
“We tried to stay in the match but their second goal made it difficult for us. It was going better for them and when we wanted to do something, we couldn't find what we needed to score. They deserved to win.”
One down, one to go!
Another season, another trophy for the Blues!
Chelsea 4 Arsenal 1 – player reaction
Speaking to BT Sport, Chelsea winger Pedro said: “In the first-half I think it was more open and Arsenal had a lot of chances but I think we controlled the game well in the second-half and moved the ball between the lines until the end.
“It is unbelievable and it is another goal and another European final. The best thing was the team work today.
“It is another trophy and I am happy to win another title and I think we deserve it because we were the best team in the tournament.
“To close this season with the trophy is great. I link with Eden well and he is the best player. I'm so happy for him to win this title.”
Chelsea are European champions once again!
Chelsea 4 Arsenal 1 – player reaction
Chelsea defender David Luiz: “We had some ups and downs but we have improved a lot and learned a lot this season.
“We finished well and won a trophy. It is my third title in Europe with Chelsea, they believe in my game. Sarri is a great guy, a great coach and he deserves this.
“The manager did amazing for this club. I don't know about speculation, now is the time to talk about the title.”
Chelsea 4 Arsenal 1: The contrast of emotions
Chelsea lift the trophy and involve everyone in their celebrations with Gary Cahill and Rob Green among the first to hoist the cup into the air.
That's Maurizio Sarri's first piece of major silverware, surely he's now done enough to keep his Stamford Bridge job.
Chelsea 4 Arsenal 1 – player reaction
Chelsea striker Olivier Giroud: “It was an interesting first half but there were no goals. It was a good final and we have been better, more efficient in the second half.
“I am very proud, this team deserved to win something. It was special for me, I am happy for this club. It's my second trophy in two years.
“These two clubs changed my life, they gave me the opportunity to play in the Premier League. I didn't want to celebrate against Arsenal but I am so proud to win this trophy with Chelsea.
“When you give me the chance to get game time I always try my best. It was our second target to win the Europa League after finishing in the top four so I feel blessed.”
Chelsea 4 Arsenal 1 – player reaction
Blues hero Eden Hazard on his future: “We will decide in a few days and the only target in my mind was to win this final. I have made my decision already and now I'm waiting on both clubs.
“I think it is a goodbye, but in football you never know. My dream was to play in the Premier League and I have done that for one of the biggest clubs so maybe now it is the time for a new challenge.”
On the final: “It was good. I think both teams were playing with a bit of stress with it being a final but when Olivier scored it was the beginning of a great night.
“We played well and controlled the game and I'm happy to leave this trophy with the boys. The manager said to carry on playing football at the break and today we showed this mentality.”
Eden Hazard has just said tonight will probably be a 'goodbye' to Chelsea and that his future will become clear 'in the next few days'.
He's off, no doubt about that now. But what a final game from the Belgium superstar, a stunning end to a great Chelsea career.
