Tottenham’s stunning Champions League semi-final win over Ajax has eclipsed Liverpool’s amazing comeback against Barcelona, according to talkSPORT host Jason Cundy.
The Premier League rivals will meet in Madrid for an unexpected all-English final after two of the most sensational nights in European football history.
Liverpool’s victory over Barca has been dubbed the ‘Miracle of Merseyside’, after Jurgen Klopp’s side staged an incredible comeback from 3-0 down in the first leg to win 4-0 at Anfield.

Spurs followed that up with a dramatic result of their own, fighting back from 2-0 down in Amsterdam, and 3-0 in the tie, to draw 3-3 with Ajax and go through to their first ever European Cup final on away goals.
And Cundy believes Tottenham’s turnaround was a bigger achievement.

Speaking on Wednesday night’s Sports Bar, the ex-Chelsea and Spurs defender said: “They get two goals in three or four minutes and that changed the mood. They were level on the night and when you come back from 2-0 down, anything is possible.
“Just well played Spurs, that was super human tonight.
“We saw something from Liverpool that was just magnificent, but I think tonight eclipses what Liverpool did.
“And to see that back to back!

“We have an all English final now – who would have predicted that going into these second leg?
“It’s remarkable, just unbelievable.
“It just goes to show, this game of ours, this tournament brings up some of the greatest games we’ve ever seen.
