Victory over Spurs for the Reds would send out a huge message to their rivals, although they know Mauricio Pochettino’s side pose a real problem.

Although the north Londoners have won just one of their last five league games, they showed incredible fight to claim a 2-2 draw from the jaws of defeat in the corresponding fixture last season.

Klopp has named an interesting midfield for the clash, with Jordan Henderson alongside James Milner and Georginio Wijnaldum.

And Spurs also made an interesting tactical manoeuvre, starting Lucas Moura ahead of Heung-min Son.

Check out the confirmed teams below!

Liverpool XI: Alisson, Alexander-Arnold, Matip, Van Dijk, Robertson, Henderson, Wijnaldum, Milner, Mane, Salah, Firmino.

Subs: Mignolet, Fabinho, Lovren, Keita, Lallana, Shaqiri, Origi.

Tottenham XI: Lloris (C), Trippier, Alderweireld, Sanchez, Vertonghen, Rose, Sissoko, Eriksen, Dele, Lucas, Kane.

Subs: Gazzaniga, Davies, Foyth, Skipp, Wanyama, Son, Llorente.
