Manchester United team news: Predicted Red Devils line-up for last Premier League game of season against Cardiff City

Manchester United’s season has not panned out how they would have hoped and will end outside the top four.

The club have gone backwards from finishing second to their rivals Manchester City last season.

New manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is still finding his feet and there is set to be a substantial overhaul of the squad in the summer.

Among those out of contract are Antonio Valencia, Juan Mata and Ander Herrera while there are doubts about the future of a number of big names stars including Paul Pogba, David De Gea and Anthony Martial.

Solskjaer will have a big decision to make about who he selects for the match at Old Trafford.

Finishing fifth could be important for United as it would ensure a place in the Europa League group stage proper.

Sixth would still see them in the competition but the result of the FA Cup final would dictate if they are in the group stage or second qualifying round.

We’ve taken a look at how Manchester United could line-up for the Cardiff match.

Chong is the likeliest to start as he has seen some minutes already this season.

“I spoke to Antonio yesterday,” Solskjaer said. “He’s not been fit the five or six months I’ve been here unfortunately.
