Wanderers’ players have gone 27 days without their salaries, and the lack of assurances over a resolution to the situation has caused the dressing room to take drastic action.

According to the Bolton News, such action could be boycotting tomorrow’s visit of Brentford to the University of Bolton Stadium.

Wanderers were relegated from the second division last week after a 2-0 defeat by Aston Villa.

A couple of days prior, former Watford owner Laurence Bassini agreed a deal to buy Bolton from Ken Anderson, subject to EFL approval.

Anderson had long been looking to sell the club, and he claimed to have accepted offers valued at lower than what his shares were worth.
