Jurgen Klopp will be hoping to avenge last season’s defeat in the Final

Two of the Premier League’s most exciting teams will pit their wits against one another at the Wanda Metropolitano with the chance to lift the prestigious trophy.

Xherdan Shaqiri, who started the semi-final against Barcelona, insists the Reds ‘deserve’ to win the Champions League after their incredible season at home and in Europe.

“I think we had a great season and there is one big final ahead of us,” he told talkSPORT.

“We’ll try everything to win this title because the club deserves it, the fans deserve it and the players deserve it. It’ll be a really special thing if we win it.
