The Rams stunned Elland Road to silence on Wednesday night as they battled back from two goals down on aggregate to win and book a trip to Wembley.

The victory was sweet for County. A bitter rivalry formed between the clubs this season over the ‘spygate’ scandal, with Lampard calling foul play after Leeds boss Marcelo Bielsa admitted to sending a staff to secretly watch opponents’ training sessions.
And, earlier this season, the Whites faithful changed the lyrics to Oasis classic ‘Stop Crying Your Heart Out’ to mock Lampard and his Rams side, after beating them home and away in the league.

But the former England midfielder had the last laugh, as he turned their own ‘spygate’ song against them by belting out ‘Stop Crying Frank Lampard’ with his players after their play-off semi-final win.
The Championship rivals produced a classic as Derby battled back from 2-0 down on aggregate to win the tie 4-3 – sealing their place in a Wembley final against Aston Villa and a shot at promotion to the Premier League.
For Leeds, it means another season in the second tier after a campaign that showed so much promise and produced so much expectation from their supporters.
And Lampard couldn’t resist rubbing it in after the full-time whistle…
