Just when you think you’ve seen it all, Tottenham go and do something like that!
Spurs were heading out of the Champions League when goals from Matthijs de Ligt and Hakim Ziyech put Ajax 2-0 up in the second leg of their semi-final tie, and 3-0 up on aggregate.
But Mauricio Pochettino’s men were not going down without a fight and breathed new life into the tie with two quickfire goals from Lucas Moura.
And then deep, deep into stoppage-time Moura got the goal the Premier League side craved to send them through in sensational style.
The end of the game sparked wild celebrations and Spurs will now face Liverpool in the showpiece final in Madrid on June 1st.
Liverpool got through with a brilliant comeback win of their own, beating Barcelona 4-3 on aggregate on Tuesday night.
And these Kopites took to Twitter to congratulate Spurs on reaching the final. Below you can see the best tweets.
