Man City 6 Watford 0 – player reaction
City ace Bernardo Silva: “It is an incredible feeling, to win all the domestic competitions for the first time is amazing.
“What a team this is, the fans were amazing, they pushed us all season. Now it is time to rest, to celebrate and next season we will try and win it all again.
“It doesn’t matter if we win 1-0 or 5-0 there is always space for improvement. Next season we will try to be even better and try to win even more titles.”
Man City 6 Watford 0 – manager reaction
Watford boss Javi Gracia: “In this moment everyone is really sad but we knew before the game we had to play the perfect game. We started well and we created the best chance after 10 minutes with Roberto Pereyra but after that they dominated.
“It was very difficult for us to press which is what we were trying to do. They were better, congratulations to them and we will try again next time.
“Maybe scoring that early chance – you need to take any opportunity – but after that, they are really good, they found the spaces.
“Today and for all the season, we have to thank our fans, they are amazing. Sometimes you have to lose to win in the future and we will try to do it next time.”

Captain Kompany lifts the trophy aloft.
Man City 6 Watford 0 – manager reaction
City boss Pep Guardiola: “It was an incredible final for us and we have finished an incredible year.
“To all the people at the club a big congratulations, especially the players because they are the reason why we have won these titles.
“We have to improve, always you can improve. There is no sense to stay still.”
On Ederson's early save: “In the final these kind of things make the difference. Ederson saved us at a key point at the beginning of the game, because 1-0 would have been really difficult for us.”
Man City 6 Watford 0 – player reaction
Man of the Match Kevin de Bruyne: “The first half was a little bit edgy but obviously with the 2-0 advantage, in the second half we played great, scored four goals and had more chances. What a great way to end the season.
“It feels like an honour. After the Tottenham injury, mentally I was done. But after a couple of days I really wanted to be back with the team to win the title.”
Man City 6 Watford 0 – player reaction
City captain Vincent Kompany: “As soon as we scored the two goals it opened up the game for us and we were able to make more chances. It wasn't as easy as the score makes it look. But what a season, what a tremendous club.
“It started with the manager, he sets the standard at the start of the season and said we had to go back to back.
“It's the best team in the world for me. To set such a high standard for so long – not just for one year but two years running now. What a club, what a privilege.”
Man City 6 Watford 0 – player reaction
City hero Raheem Sterling: “The boys did brilliant. My goals added to the win. It was brilliant from everyone.
“I grew up here and saw this stadium get built. It's a massive dream come true to win trophies here.
“It shows what the manager is building here. He said we needed to get the mentality right and we did that and did it exceptionally well.
“It's been a long season with the World Cup as well but everyone has been on their A-game and come through.”
Man City 6 Watford 0
Just the best.
Man City 6 Watford 0 – FULL TIME
Wow, what a performance and what a team.
Man City 6 Watford 0
Stones becomes an unorthodox striker somehow and Sterling finds him perfectly but the defender can't find a finish. He looks absolutely gutted.
From the resulting corner, Sane fires a half-volley from 35 yards out that whistles just wide.
Man City 6 Watford 0 – Raheem Sterling
Just magnificent football.
An FA Cup hat-trick from Sterling to crown his incredible season.
De Bruyne picks it up down the right and fires it low and hard to Sterling who slots it home on the second attempt.
Man City 5 Watford 0
City just will not let up as De Bruyne releases Bernardo down the middle but Watford somehow manage to block.
This has been a masterclass from City in the second 45.
Man City 5 Watford 0 – Raheem Sterling
Sterling did get credited with City's second but Jesus deserved that one. But now the England superstar does have a fine goal all of his own.
It's been one of City's trademarks this season with Sterling steaming in at the back post to fire home.
Man City 4 Watford 0
City produce a move of around 60 odd passes but Sane misplaces the final one and there won't be any incredible team goal this time.
Silva goes off to be replaced by Stones. Ten minutes left.
Man City 4 Watford 0
You think back to that Pereyra miss and that Ederson save and how different this final could've been…
Instead, City have been at their ruthless best in this second half and killed the game off.
They are going to become the first team ever to win every trophy in the men's domestic game at England's top level. What a phenomenal achievement.
Man City 4 Watford 0
How has De Bruyne not made it five? The Belgian has taken complete control of this game since coming on but somehow blazes over from ten yards out.
Here come some subs. Hughes off for Cleverley as Gundogan is replaced by Sane.
Man City 4 Watford 0 – Gabriel Jesus
So, so good, City really are quite some team.
Jesus has the whole of Watford's half to run into and bares down on Gomes.
He jinks and dances before slotting under the Watford keeper. Game over. Now how many will City get?
Man City 3 Watford 0
Watford have got to make changes and do so with Deulofeu and Pereyra being replaced by Gray and Success.
Man City 3 Watford 0 – Kevin De Bruyne
What a break from City and that is just about that.
Jesus and De Bruyne have a two on one and work it perfectly. The Belgian picks it up, checks back inside and finishes with aplomb.
Job done? We've had some stunning comebacks recently but surely the FA Cup and the treble are heading to Manchester.
Man City 2 Watford 0
Silva goes into the book for cynically bringing down Deulofeu.
Pereyra crosses towards Deeney but he can't find a team-mate and City can break up field at speed….
