The former Liverpool and Man United striker has been mocked repeatedly for several obvious comments on the game, such as when once claimed “footballers these days often have to use their feet.â€

Michael Owen made another commentary howler on BT Sport
However, his latest blunder on Saturday morning might have topped them them all.
When asked who he thought would make the Champions League final, the 39-year-old tipped Barcelona and Liverpool to make it, despite the two facing each other in the semi-finals.
Liverpool currently trail the Catalan giants 3-0 in the tie after the Reds were dismantled by Lionel Messi at Camp Nou.
And Owen immediately realised his error and was left scratching his head as fellow BT Sport pundits Owen Hargreaves and Chris Sutton burst out laughing.

Meanwhile, Liverpool travel to Newcastle on Saturday evening in the last of Saturday’s Premier League action.
Jurgen Klopp’s side will be desperate for a win to keep the pressure on league leaders Manchester City.
However, Rafael Benitez has insisted his side will not roll over for Liverpool ahead of the match.
“We are professional and have to do our job,” said Benitez.
“My relationship with the city of Liverpool, the club and the fans is there.
“At the same time, I have been to play Liverpool with Chelsea, with Newcastle, and we have to do our job.”
