‘Just a s*** Neil Warnock’ – Cardiff City supporters mock Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer after Old Trafford victory

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer endured a miserable end to the Premier League season at home to Cardiff City.

The Manchester United boss watched on as his side were put to the sword by the relegated Bluebirds courtesy of a 2-0 win.

Nathaniel Mendez-Laing scored a brace at Old Trafford to ensure United have finished the season with just two clean sheets from their home games all season.

Despite handing 17-year-old Mason Greenwood a Premier League start, Solskjaer cut a frustrated figure in the Stretford sunshine all afternoon.

And the Cardiff fans were quick to mock their former manager, despite preparing for a return to the Championship.

Cries of ‘You’re getting sacked in the morning’ and ‘You’re just a s*** Neil Warnock’ could be heard ringing out from the away supporters in the South Stand.

Since taking permanent control of United at the end of March, Solskjaer has led the club on a miserable run of form. The Red Devils have won just two games in all competitions.

While a summer rebuild is almost certainly needed, it remains to be seen how and where the Norwegian can strengthen.

With Paul Pogba and Romelu Lukaku seemingly set for the exit, it could be a very long summer for the United boss.
