Tottenham stadium latest: Paul Gascoigne set to play in Legends match against Inter Milan

Paul Gascoigne has seemingly confirmed he will play in a Tottenham Legends game at their new stadium later this month.

Spurs will host a ‘legends game’ against Inter Milan on March 30 ahead of the grand opening of their £1billion arena on April 3 – when Crystal Palace visit in the Premier League.

And Gascoigne, who spent three years at White Hart Lane and lifted the FA Cup in 1991, looks set to take part.

He tweeted: “Hi every1 the skipper GARY is getting hounded,HE PICKED ME2PLAY FROM THE START I WAS THE 1 WHO SAID KEEP IT QUIET.”

The fixture represents the second of two test events before Spurs welcome Palace to their new home.

Tottenham will play an Under-18s fixture against Southampton this Sunday in front of a 30,000-strong crowd, and 45,000 will watch the legends game against Inter.
