Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is set for a huge summer transfer window as Manchester United boss.
With the possibility of Thursday night Europa League football being played at Old Trafford, the Norwegian knows he must speculate to accumulate.
With Arsenal and Chelsea battling for fourth spot and the final automatic Champions League qualifying spot, Solskjaer is all too aware of the pressure he will find himself under.
Ed Woodward will reportedly hand the boss a £200million transfer war chest with which to improve the squad, so expect to see some serious moves.
But what are the latest rumours surrounding United? Scroll down to find out.
SANCHEZ TO GET £13M PAY-OFF – Dail Mail
Man United are willing to pay half of Alexis Sanchez’s £26million-a-year salary to secure him a move this summer.
The Red Devils’ hierarchy are aware the Chilean’s £500,000-a-week salary will prove a major stumbling block, so are resigned to paying as much as 50% of his wages.
While paying £13million for a player to play elsewhere is not ideal, the Mail claim United would rather have the extra wages to offer prospective signings.
UNITED BEGIN DEMBELE TALKS – L’Equipe
Manchester United have sent scouts to watch former Celtic striker Moussa Dembele ahead of a £47million move, according to reports.
Arsenal and Atletico Madrid are also keen on the Lyon forward, but it is Solskjaer who has reportedly been making background checks on the 22-year-old.
And L’Equipe claim it is the Red Devils who are leading the charge for the Frenchman.
ZIDANE ‘OBSESSED’ WITH POGBA – Marca
Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane is reportedly ‘obsessed’ with signing Paul Pogba this summer.
The 26-year-old has already reportedly begged Old Trafford chiefs to let him leave for a second time.
And Marca claim Zidane wants to bring him to the Bernabeu, but the club’s £130million asking price could be a sticking point.
