David de Gea has told Manchester United he will not sign a new contract at the club, it is understood.
The Spanish goalkeeper’s deal expires in 2020 and, following lengthy negotiations, he has rejected the club’s final offer of fresh terms.

And according to The Sun, the French giants are lining up a £60million bid for De Gea in the current window – or can opt to sign him on a free next year.
De Gea has been voted the club’s Player of the Year in four of the past six seasons but his form dipped in the closing stages of the 2018/19 campaign amid uncertainty over his future.
To lose one of his star men would be a massive blow for United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, who has been tasked with spearheading an almighty rebuilding project at Old Trafford.

If De Gea does leave then Solskjaer’s options between the sticks include Argentina international Sergio Romero and Dean Henderson, who has impressed while on loan at Sheffield United.
PSG have already made a swoop for midfielder Ander Herrera, 29, who will see out his contract at United later this summer.
However, United are on the verge of completing the signing of Daniel James from Swansea, who has reportedly agreed personal terms with the club.
